Change(l)ing(s) is looking for stories about othering, humanity, and the difficulty of finding community in a world that wishes you to stay away. Change(l)ing(s) is looking for fiction, creative non-fiction, and autofiction pieces with themes of feeling inhuman, being an outsider, and growing into a person that reflects one's true self.
While anyone can submit, stories that deal with an undertone of neurodivergence, sexual/gender non-comformity, cultural or ethnic outcasting, differing abilities levels, or other forms of outcasting are of greater interest. It is encouraged to engage with the metaphor of the "changeling," and the editors of Change(l)ing(s) are willing to discuss with writers about their work.

Works should be submitted by Sunday, November 8th via a Microsoft word file to changelings.magazine@gmail.com.
The formatting guidelines are as follows:
-
7-10 pages
-
12-point times new roman font, double spaced
-
One-inch margins
-
One space between sentences
-
The title, author’s name, preferred pronouns (if desired), and preferred email must be included at the top of the first page.
